[Week 6] Plateau

"a state of little or no change following a period of activity or progress."

The thing about a plateau is it allows one an opportunity to pause and to appreciate what has been accomplished thus far while seeing that there is still work to be done.  Looking up the mountain is daunting, and just a little bit scary, but there's something invigorating about the prospect of meeting the next challenge.  We got loose with the diet this week, but it was worth the break.  A weight-loss stall was well worth taking a break to enjoy a little Texas Road House Grill and a few tall glasses of sweet tea.  Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

  • Weight: 296 lbs -- (no loss)
  • Weight Loss: 21 lbs
  • Accomplishment: Despite the laxity in diet, I still managed a decent running week.
