[Week 5] Achievement!


I'm not sure I'm aware of any other sport that provides me such meaningful achievement as running.  While I enjoy a great many sports, running provides me a sense of accomplishment in the shortest amount of time.  This week I went from a 16-minute mile to a 14:58; and during my 4.5 "long run" none-the-less. As a side, Debra and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day free from the restrictions of diet and I still managed to finish the week 3 lbs down in weight-loss.

Stats:
  • Weight: 296 lbs
  • Weight Loss: 21 lbs
  • Accomplishment: Non-stop 5K Jog in 14:58mm
